Nike plans 'very aggressive' investments in China: Nike Inc. is celebrating its 30th year in China with plans for aggressive expansion throughout the country, which has become the sporting goods brand's second largest market.In an interview with the Xinghua News Agency, Nike (NYSE: NKE) brand President Charlie Denson said the company, which already has 7,000 retail stores largely at major population centers, now plans to spread distribution westward to second- and third-tier
cities.
Last week Nike confirmed plans that it would build a new corporate campus in Shanghai, marking its third major corporate campus after the World Headquarters in unincorporated Washington County and a European regional headquarters in Hilversum, the Netherlands.
